Congratulations to Emma Dierking, Storm Lake Rotary Club’s October Student of the Month!
Emma, a senior at Storm Lake High School, has earned impressive achievements throughout her high school career. She’s a two-time All-State honoree in 2021 and 2023 and was awarded Best Female Soloist for Jazz at the Emmetsburg Extravaganza.
Beyond her academic and musical talents, Emma is dedicated to making a difference in her community. She organized a student-led walkout in support of
LGBTQIA+ peers and has volunteered with a tutoring program for students. Emma plans to attend the University of Iowa, where she’ll continue her journey of leadership and advocacy.
