Parents/Guardians of students in the Storm Lake School system have the right to know that all teachers within our district are highly qualified teachers. If you would like to learn of these qualifications which include: state licensure requirements for their specific grade, current license status, certificates/degrees, please call the district office to schedule an appointment.

The District does not anticipate hiring teachers who are unable to meet highly qualified standards in the State of Iowa. However, by law, parents will be notified should their child be taught four or more consecutive weeks by a teacher who is not highly qualified.
